Violence, Crime and Death
An American Story

Readers, I do not claim to have all of the answers. We will never live in a perfect world. But, we can make a drastic change, if we so desire. I think there is no time like the present to get involved and make a change. If not for us, let's do it for the children. The young and innocent, who shall inherit this world we have created. We owe it to them.

Now that we have seen the facts and have been given a level playing field of truths, we can begin to understand what we are up against. With all these facts are weighed, and all of the evaluation done, we are left with two possible scenarios...

A)   The first choice is to instill upon your children basic human morals and integrity. Show them love, take part in their activities, extend to them guidance, nurturing, wisdom and education. And especially talk to them. Make a point of seeing what kind of shows they have access to. See what kinds of video games are on your children's Nintendo, Sega or personal computer. Take note of the satanic imagery, extreme clothing, masochistic and violent literature and music your children are following. Commit yourself to giving your children a better life through basic family values. Be a parent.

B)   The second choice is to choose not to take an active part in your children's and families lives. Allow them to soak in all the glorification of death, humiliation, rape, murder and other crime that has been induced to them via television, movies, music, video games, books and magazines, etc. Allow others to raise your children via all the gruesome and horrible things in the media, local gangs, etc. If you choose not to get involved with your children soon enough, maybe your families picture will be on the nightly news. Do you really want that 15 minutes of fame???

You might even be the lucky parent to get a phone call from the local or federal authorities telling you of a horrific event your child was just involved in. You may hear a solemn voice on the other end of the phone saying that your child has just committed suicide after going on a rampage at the local school, playground or park after murdering several of his or her peers.
